Brooke Bentham reschedules London Omeara show…

announces new Yo La Tengo cover single…

It is with regret that due to the continuing situation in the UK the upcoming Brooke Bentham show on Thursday 13th August has been rescheduled to Tuesday 1st June 2021 - London Omeara. All tickets purchased for the original dates remain valid. Customers are advised to retain their tickets and ticket confirmations at this time.

Brooke has also released ‘Nowhere Near’. The ethereal cover of the Yo La Tengo original, is the first release and title track off Brooke’s covers EP.

This is an exciting chapter as Brooke offers us an alternative view into her world through her song cover choices. With each track Brooke explores visual soundscapes and showcases her unique craft and talent in her vocal range and emotions.

With over 8.5 million streams across all platforms, Brooke Bentham’s exciting debut album ‘Everyday Nothing’ released 28th February 2020, documented a fast-rising twenty-something-year-old from South Shields looking to make sense of her existence, the ‘Nowhere Near’ EP is Brooke’s stamp of certainty.

She is confident in her style and covers tracks with a signature sound attributed only to her.

While the tracks were recorded pre-quarantine, the single, EP artwork and music video, have been created in quarantine with a very low key, DIY feel and high impact to reflect the sentiments of the music.

‘Nowhere Near’ is a track which resonates with the current climate exposing themes of isolation, communication and above all, love and self. This single sits symbolically alongside ‘People’ (Barbra Streisand Cover) and ‘29 #Strafford APTS’ (Bon Iver Cover) on the new EPNowhere Near’ out 17th July 2020.
