Retro-pop five-piece Silvertwin catch up with us ahead of their gig at London’s Omeara on June 3rd.

Hey Isaac and Alicia, thanks for chatting with us! Your show at Omeara on June 3rd is coming up fast! What can we and your fans expect to see from you during the show?

“A whole bunch of new songs we are really excited to play! Also expect some new merch.”

Describe for us in three words the vibe of one of your gigs.

“Dynamic, sincere, powerful”

Which track of yours should a first-time listener start with and why?

“Our new single Times Of Our Lives! It's easy as a band to get most excited about the latest release but this single's message is really important to us and filming the music video with our friends was really special.”

You have a distinctive sound that you’ve been able to hone in on. Which one album or artist would you say has inspired you the most when discovering your sound?

“Not sure we can pick one out but we have been listening to a lot of Bowie, Elvis Costello, Springsteen and Squeeze!”

What one piece of advice would you give to up and coming artists looking to get on to the live circuit?

“ Being in an up and coming band in London is tough! Trying to play as many shows as possible and going to as many gigs as you can has taught us a lot!””
